Pros and cons of Learn German - Free WordPower app for iPhone and iPad

Learn German - Free WordPower app good for

Very good app with word pronunciation. Loved the verb conjugation section. Just a small bug that muted the pronunciation for while bothered me
The one man speaks too fast so difficult to understand while learning German. The womans tempo is perfect.
I found using Word Power interesting and challenging, the two motivators I think I needed to stick with the plan. I would highly recommend this application for a novice or a more experienced person. The word layout fit my needs and the word lists filled the gaps in my learning requirements. Thanks again for the opportunity to provide feedback on this application.
Im using this and the spanish/french ones. Theyre great for supplementing a course, but you wont learn a language with just vocab. These apps are only intended for vocab tho and theyre fantastic at it. The daily "word of the day" push notifications remind you to use the app and the word of the day is the same in every language which is really nice if youre learning more than one.
This is one of the best German language learning apps on iTunes. I bought the full version and I think it was worth the money. Two things though; first, it would be nice if they would say the gender article along with the nouns when using the voice pronunciation feature. e.g. "Das Bier", "Der Finger" Secondly, the male voice pronouncing the phrases pronounces them much too fast and its hard to even distinguish each word from the others. But overall I really like this app.
I like this app, because it shows pronunciations in sounds and it has a simple interface and it is highly easy to use. It would be a better app if it had pronounced nouns or noun phrases always with definite articles so as to memorize each gender.

Some bad moments

Very simple. I think it will takes a thousand years to learn german this way.
When you press for audio to hear how the word is pronounced, the wrong language plays for you. I have the app for German, but when I want to correct pronunciation I get the word in Chinese or Russian. There are better apps out there. Dont waste your time. Learning only one word a day means it will take you about 3,000 days before youre able to carry a conversation. Hope youre not in a hurry.
Nice app but is crashing all the time since last upgrade .stable app?
What are you meant to do? Just learn one word a day? So how long will it take to learn a language? Too long for me....
Very bad application. Crashes every now and then. Pop ups annoying advertising. Free version does nothing at all but suggest to upgrade. Paid version does not much more - very few words are there. Phrases you can listen seem to be generated by soft like SpeakIt! , not recorded by human. Dont buy this piece of crap - free things around here are way better!
Thai used to be a good app. It was worth paying for. However, it apparently is now being managed by someone who doesnt provide definitions or sample sentences which makes it worthless.
